TARZADOR (5) broke her long win drought with a tough win at Awapuni-synthetic last start, and she remains on the same weight with the rise in class here. The extra 300m is ideal, and she is capable of repeating the dose. BEETLEGEUSE (9) just battled at Te Rapa last start when fading out of it over the final stages. His all the way win prior at Hawera is the guide to use, and with a 6kg weight drop, he may employ similar tactics to try and make all in this. Stick with him. SOLIDIFY (1) has needed both of his starts back from a spell, and he will be improved after making his poly track debut here a fortnight ago over 1550m. The extra 450m is the key, and he is ready to put his best hoof forward in this. Each way value. DODDLE (2) will find this far easier than any of her 3 starts this prep, and a form reversal is likely for her poly track debut. Follow the market. NAUGHTY GRANNIE (7) had no chance off a wide run at Ellerslie 11 days ago after winning her maiden here prior. Each way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Beetlegeuse and Doddle each way.
