Keen tempo with Claudel and Gatwick prominent. CLAUDEL (7) made a promising debut at Warwick Farm two weeks ago but ultimately gave the leader too much tether. Kept race fav Our Huntress safely at Bay last time, who she meets again. Is sure to have come on from that and draws well again with Clark taking over. Looks the one. OUR HUNTRESS (11) was disappointing last time when never really posing a threat as favourite. Her fresh run was full of merit at Hawkesbury despite going under at a very short quote. Has the wide alley third-up. Take on trust for her to turn the tables. GATWICK (8) has also gone under as favourite in her two runs back but switches back to the Sydney-way of running third-up which could spark her. FLYING ARTISAM (2) has been right there in his two runs back off a long break and now gets the blinkers on first time. Not dismissing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Claudel to win.
