IMPERVIOUS (1) has been plying her trade in much harder contests of late and will appreciate the sharp drop back in company here. Strips fitter third-up, draws the inside alley and gets 3kg off with the claim. Ticks plenty of boxes for a race like this. STEIN (9) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough for a race of this calibre. Tuned up for this with two recent trials and should be kept very safe. WORTHY (10) has a win and a second from three attempts over this distance range and winning rider Osmond sticks. Again gets the benefit of his 2kg claim and should play a role in the outcome. AMERICAN CONQUEST (2) was a six length winner at Toowoomba at the latest outing and will have derived a stack of confidence from that dominant victory.
