Keen tempo with Logi State and Afro Gal prominent. AFRO GAL (2) lines up for the first time since March 5. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1400m at this track. One of the genuine hopes in the race. AIR SHALLOW (3) didn't do a bad job when fourth last start after being in contention on the corner over 1500m at Urawa, beaten 1.3 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Nicely placed to return to winning form. BAKLAVA (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1500m at Urawa. Should settle handy in the run. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LOGI STATE (7) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing second and beaten 2 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
