Good pace from Floral Kingdom, Christmas Rose and Amphitrite and they'll have company. FLORAL KINGDOM (4) has produced two solid third-place finishes in succession, most recently over 1200m at this venue. Her closing efforts suggest the step up to 1400m will suit perfectly and she looks ready to take the next step. PEACEFUL DUCHESS (1) made up plenty of ground from the rear when fourth last start and that form has been boosted with the winner scoring again since. The extra distance and inside draw enhance her prospects considerably. CHRISTMAS ROSE (5) was slow into stride on debut but worked home encouragingly late. The rise in trip should be ideal and natural improvement is expected second time at the races. BRIGHTSUNNYDAY (3) travelled well for a long way over 1600m last start before weakening late. Blinkers are added now and, from a favourable draw, she has the ability to be competitive.
