Good pace from Last Margarita, Roy's Grace and K M V Retrofit and they'll have company. GOLDEN ANGEL (3) enjoyed a perfect run when scoring over this course and distance last time and did the job well. She rises slightly in the weights, but meets a similar field and, from a favourable draw, looks capable of going back-to-back. LAST MARGARITA (4) broke through for her maiden victory at attractive odds over 1200m here last start. The step up to a mile appears suitable, and with just 52kg to carry, she has the scope to measure up again. K M V RETROFIT (2) was far from disgraced over 1400m at this venue last time and now drops in class. On her better form, she is capable of featuring prominently and should not be overlooked. ROY'S GRACE (1) finished well behind the top pick in their latest meeting but enjoys a 3kg swing in the weights today. That advantage should see her finish much closer, and she can be competitive for the minor placings.
