Expecting New Sovereign to lead Hard Evidence at just a moderate tempo. DRAMATICUS (3) looks well placed to record another victory, coming off a smart win at Donald as favourite, given a good ride there and coming away to score by 1.75 lengths. He maps for an ideal run again here from the good draw and a repeat performance goes close. LEGIO TEN (2) can mix his form a bit but put in a good one last start at Sandown Lakeside when narrowly beaten into third. He'll take holding out. SURREAL I AM (4) resumes for a new yard, now with John McArdle. His form in NSW was over further but he's jumped out quite well and could surprise at huge odds. NEW SOVEREIGN (5) was just fair fresh in a stronger race at Ballarat. He's got talent but has clearly had his issues - look for a much better run. HARD EVIDENCE (7) can run well at his local debut for the Waller yard, watch the market. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dramaticus to win.
