GOING: S(5)

Unox Casa Maiden Plate 1400m

Track: SOFT 5   Clear (Max: 25)   Rail: Out 6m Entire Circuit.

Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Avenue Montaigne a potential leader. No surprise to see AVENUE MONTAIGNE (2) in the red. Two runs back have been good in what look like stronger maidens, getting home well for second here last time out. She gets blinkers on, draws ideally and this race looks to lack depth on paper. VESPERS (6) has been solid in two runs to date, battling on well here on wet ground second up. She can continue to progress. EMANATING (3) was just fair first up at Geelong over 1200m but will be fitter and the rise to 1400m looks in her favour. SHINY DIAMOND (5) is a filly by Super Seth on debut for the Bedggood yard. Her jumpouts suggest further might be better in time but she can run well. ADIRA RIVER (1) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Avenue Montaigne should be winning.
