Moderate tempo with Aristocrat leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. MIDNIGHT LUNA (6) let down strongly in the lane to score with a bit in hand over 1400m at Mudgee second-up. The rise to the mile looks perfect third-up and she can make it back-to-back wins. MISSILE LEADER (5) has been thereabouts of late without winning, the latest effort a close fourth over 1400m at Nowra. Is another that looks suited stepping out to the mile and he looks a big danger. ARISTOCRAT (3) stuck on gamely into fourth in good company last start at Canberra over this trip. Doesn't need to improve much to win. PHILADELPHIA STORM (2) boasts strong peaks from last prep, highlighted by his strong turn of foot to score at Goulburn on Aug 28. Is unbeaten over this course and distance. Watch for him humming home late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Midnight Luna to win.
