Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of first starters. BOA VISTA (8) can be forgiven for not exactly meeting market expectations fresh at Geelong when resuming off 340 days. Is sure to have come on form that and is perfectly placed to get off the mark this time. THE LAD (3) is a first starter by De Gaulle out of Kapreta. Has come along nicely at the trials, finding the line nicely in his two at Wagga. Draws sticky but is worth monitoring for market support. ALICE ALICE (7) is a fellow debutant and is by Encryption out of Impeach. Among the placings in recent trial here and Boudvillain sticks. Keeping a close eye on her. SHE'S ELUSIVE (5) held on fairly into the placings when resuming at Swan Hill last start. Will have come on from that and deserves following up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boa Vista to win.
