CHABAL (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on February 19, finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths over 2000m at this track. Suited this grade. Among the better hopes. POMOZELOUS (5) scored two back at Vaal but was below her best last time when tenth over 2400m at Vaal. Nicely placed to make amends. CIRCLE OF GRACE (6) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 2000m at Vaal after being up on the pace until straightening. Can give a sight with the light weight.
