Parrot Club to find the front in the small field. A weak Highweight. VIVID BLOOMS (7) might be the best of them. Peaks off solid enough efforts at Penola and Swan Hill, and the blinkers come off. Will Gordon is reunited, and that's a positive. SOUTHERN SUNSHINE (4) is also a hope. Steps up in trip off an improved effort over 1500m at Yarra Valley and will have taken extra fitness. SPICY APPLE (5) wasn't too far away over 1600m at Swan Hill and can build on that. Peaks now and respect the stable. YUKON RIVER (6) also steps up from 1600m and showed enough on debut to suggest he can be around the mark. ROYAL GALA (3) debuts and is being prepared for jumping. Has had a stack of trials and Pateman sticks from the latest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Vivid Blooms appeals most.
