Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Alma Viva. G T ENGINE (7) recorded another success last time over 1400m at this track making it two straight wins this campaign. Comfortable winner last time and can measure up again. QUEEN'S STELA (8) couldn't have been more impressive first up last start when she scored by 3 lengths over 1500m at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and looks a big threat to the top selection. ALMA VIVA (9) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1500m at this track after being prominent from the outset. Has the pace to be thereabouts from the outset. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. VALLUMNOS (12) is progressing well this preparation, getting the job done by half a length last time out over 1400m at this track. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
