SCURGEOFTHEWEST (1) has won his last three easily at the track and came back to 1200m this grade in the latest. He hits the line hard and maps better today. Rates strongly and should have them covered again. BONNY ROCK (5) disappointed over 1300m at Mt Barker but missed a nose here this trip prior off and all-the-way win at Bunbury. Faithfull is here to continue her association with the mare and a much sharper effort is on the cards. The likely threat. TYCOON DEMON (2) has been knocking on the door and was slightly plainer beaten 2.5L behind the top selection last time. Has claims on his best figures. DEEP DISCRETION (12) has been racing well at CL2 level. Has been giving away starts but tumbles in weight and that brings her into it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hard to go past Scurgeofthewest.
