DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS 1200m

Track: HEAVY 10     Out 12m

Leroy Brown and Spencer can be prominent. TWAIN (3) has looked well above average in both of his starts since resuming from a spell, including an easy win here 8 weeks ago. He has to carry an extra 3kg now, but is on target to complete the hat-trick of wins. FORCE OF NATURE (7) is another very progressive gelding who won here fresh up by well over a length over 1300m. He only has to carry half a kilo more and has yet to taste defeat in 5 starts on this course. He will make it very interesting with the top pick. CAITLYNS WISH (4) was challenged in front at Otaki last start but showed a lot of grit to finish third that day, and she is likely to get an uncontested lead here. Stick with her. Each way value. SPENCER (1) led up and fought on bravely to finish sixth in the Opunake Cup. Dropping back from 1400m to 1200m will help, and he can bounce back into the top 3 here. MIDNIGHT SCANDAL (5) has been freshened up since finishing third as favourite in the Tauranga Classic 7 weeks ago. Watch for her late. SUGGESTED PLAY: A match race between Twain and Force Of Nature.
