Plenty of pressure expected over the mile. SKITTLES SKIES (1) ran a good race when third over 1800m on this course last time. He was squeezed leaving the start and finished off his race well. He drops back in class and with Craig Zackey in the saddle, he can notch up his second-career victory. UNSOLVED RIDDLE (5) stayed on after racing handy over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. He won his penultimate outing over this course and distance. The booking of Gavin Lerena is a big plus and he should be competitive. PRINCESS ILARIA (2) found extra where it matters most when winning her last start over 1400m on this course. She is in a good space and should give the males a decent run for their money. IMPACT INVESTOR (9) progressed nicely last start to finish second over 1600m at this track after missing the placings at the previous start. Has each-way claims.
