Moderate tempo with Family Of League leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. GUARDED OPTIMIST (5) sat back in the field and romped home to score in impressive fashion over this track and trip a fortnight ago. That was in similar conditions to this and while he rises in weight, the margin he won by is much greater than the weight swing against him. No reason why he can't repeat the dose. CHAYSE 'N' ADAM (9) got the job done two back before a 1.2L defeat in tougher company at Doomben last time out. The inside draw should see her get every chance and the rise in trip shouldn't be an issue. Ticks plenty of boxes and can return to winning ways. WANDA'S OUTLAW (7) has been around the mark lately and the jockey last start advised she may be better over further - which she gets today. Wouldn't surprise to see her sit a touch closer and can feature. FAMILY OF LEAGUE (14) was too good from the front here last start and can go back-to-back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Guarded Optimist gets the nod.
