Viburnum and Roweiner's Dance should set a strong clip. ROWEINER'S DANCE (2) has been a wonderful performer in this area for a long time, and all of his 12 career wins have been on this track. He is used to carrying big weights, and from a handy draw, over his favourite trip, he will be among the hardest to beat again. MOLONGLE SURPRISE (5) has needed both of his runs back from a long spell and was a very good gelding earlier in his career. If he can find that sort of form again, then he can definitely win a race like this. LADY DAMUS (13) has been putting them together down in the grades and will find this a whole lot tougher. She is down 6.5kg in weight and is in a good space, so don't write her off. NORTHERN EXPRESS (1) battled on well enough over 1200m here 2 weeks ago and is a better chance over 1000m. Go again. SUGGESTED PLAY: A wide open field and Roweiner's Dance would be a popular winner.
