Repeater to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. CRUISE TO VICTORY (2) bumped into what looks a smart one last start at Bunbury who has since won again. He was 2.6L off the winner there, but he's at peak fitness now and he's never missed the placings third-up. Draws ideally and looks poised to strike. HISTORY WON'T CARE (5) finished behind Cruise To Victory last time out when flying home from the back of the pack. He may be able to take closer order this time from a good gate and the blinkers go back on today. CJP remains in the saddle and he can strike now. KIRALUI (7) was very good first-up from the back, closing off in eye-catching fashion to be beaten 1L. She can dip second-up which is the niggle, though Faithfull has a good record riding for Team Pearce and the good gate should see her get every chance. REPEATER (3) has been too good this campaign and while this is tougher, he has the figures to take it up to his rivals. BONDI PLUNGE (4) disappointed last start 77 days ago but looks well placed to bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cruise To Victory gets the nod.
