Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. As is often the case, a tricky maiden to assess with so many first starters. Leaning towards MONDELLO (12), who was great first-up off a lengthy spell. She's open to improvement second-up and gets in well with a 2kg claim. She can take up a handy spot and be hard to beat. NOW EAST (4) has been solid in both runs this campaign. Those have been on a heavy track but looking at a better racing surface on today. HRates highly on recent form and can put his best foot forward. STOLEN KISS (13) was only fair last start but her prior form was good. She is a top-three chance again. BROADBEACH MISS (8) has shown enough and is worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Mondello each-way.
