Off the low draw Engelspiel can take it up a race lacking a genuine leader. GREGORIO (14) is a three-year-old colt by Epiphaneia out of Bella Voce set to debut for the Tetsuya Kimura stable. Plenty think he is ready to win, with a betting watch advised. ALA GRACIA (1) resumes from a spell of 12 weeks. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1400m at Tokyo. Good effort to open last prep when in the money at Tokyo over 1400m. Bold showing expected. UNDER THE LIGHT (16) is going well with four minor placings from five starts this campaign. Produced another good performance last start when third over 1200m at Fukushima. Must be included on the strength of that form. ENGELSPIEL (2) is racing well including a last start fourth over 1800m at Fukushima. Yet to win at the distance but has recorded three minor placings. Worth some thought.
