Clifton Springs should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. ORTHIE'S BOYS (7) tough maiden victory with the 61kg at start six when holding on over 1200m at Goulburn. Drops in weight for this with Dylan Gibbons keeping the ride. Doesn't have to improve much to win again. MURAL CROWN (2) much better performance at his third run back when launching late to run third to French Marine over 1250m at Newcastle. Form has since been franked and the firmer surface will help his cause. Hard to hold out. GLENBOWER (5) underrated Churchill gelding resuming. No match for Flightcrew last prep when eighth over 1200m at Rosehill in Midway class last June. Gelded over the break with the two sound trials. Leading prospect. ALLIRI (3) in need of the run first up when failing to stretch out in the heavy (8) conditions to run tenth over 1100m at Rosehill in BM72 class. Extra trip suits and look for a sharp turnaround.
