Kitano Dia has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. THALJ (2) won his maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict by 3 lengths. Winning rider Shoma Kato sticks and he is a leading contender. KITANO DIA (5) was far from disgraced when fourth last start over 1400m at this track, beaten only 0.9 lengths after a win here the start prior. Major player. QUEEN'S PARFAIT (6) did a great job to score by 5 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Likely to be there at the finish again. BEST TANGO (11) caught the eye last start over 1400m at this track, coming from well back to finish half a length from the winner in second. Kunihisa Hirase stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Solid claims.
