Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. Of the raced division, LOFTY THOUGHTS (3) has shown the most. Resumes for the new barn and the speed-bred colt has been sharp at the Geelong jump outs. Placed as favourite in a Geelong debut in good company and then tackled the Group 3 Blue Diamond. The colt is sure to have come on. MAHRAJAN (11) debuts for a top juvenile yard, and she has won her two jump-outs. The latest was at Flemington, and a bold run is on the cards. RAINY NIGHT (6) debuts and won a recent jump-out at Cranbourne. He also represents a top metro barn and they can get them going early. Should be right in it. SUNGAZER (7) debuts for the local McEvoy barn, and it has an imposing record at the track. He's also been well-prepared, but draws a touch wider than the above pair. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lofty Thoughts has the race form and experience.
