Scored at this track two back then finished third, only beaten a long neck, over 1400m at this track at the latest appearance two weeks ago. Masayoshi Aoyagi who has two wins when partnering stays on. Leading contender. DEEP MIND (6) was in the firing line on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1500m at this track. On his best form he is one of the key runners. PONT NEUF (7) turned in a strong run over this course and distance last time, settling well back then unleashing in the straight to get up for third. Expected to feature again. TEIKOKU (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 0.8 lengths from the winner at the end of 1700m. In the mix.
