KATSUGEKI DAIO (5) finished one length back in third over 1400m at Morioka Dirt last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Suited for this race, can take this. RIGHT FIELDER (3) was in the money two starts back at Morioka Dirt but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth. Enjoys this circuit where he has four wins and two placings from seven starts. Sure to improve. LONGING BIRTH (10) has switched yards since finishing 12th six-and-a-half weeks ago over 2890m at Niigata. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal here in easier. CAPE LIGHT (11) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1200m at Morioka Dirt. Expect a big run.
