Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Polar Opposite. ZOUCAT (11) improved sharply on a good track at Mornington, beaten 2.5L racing forward. She maps well, and the shorter sprint shouldn't prove a bother. The well-bred filly is in the premier stable and is ready to break through. CARTIER ISLAND (4) has an awkward barrier but has Coffey aboard and presents off a sharper effort at Wangaratta. She'll be right in it with average luck. RENEGE (2) had been going well, and best to forgive the flop here 4 days ago. Placed at the track three starts back and from an inside barrier, he's worth another chance. KAMIGAMO (12) debuts with Linda engaged. She's shown enough at the jump-outs to consider. RAMBITION (1) has the blinkers applied for the first time and can show more. His best would have him in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Zoucat.
