A solid tempo on the cards with Vegas Dream leading the way. It's been a long while since DIVINE VICKY (1) didn't go around in town or at the provincials. Struggled last start over 1250m in heavy going at Newcastle. Trialled well at Warwick Farm subsequently and coming back to 1100m looks a nice move. Hard to beat. CYCLONE RUPERT (5) ran a nice race two back in a Randwick Highway then chimed in late to just miss the placings over 1010m at the Sapphire Coast last time. This looks a sweet spot race. Poses a big threat. CLOSE ENCOUNTER (4) warmed up late to grab third when resuming over 1000m at Kembla recently. Hasn't fired in three second-up runs which is the query but that last effort is hard to ignore. EXOTIC DANCER (7) had been racing well before failing on the Canberra Acton last time. Worth another chance back on the turf. VEGAS DREAM (3) might find today's trip a bit sharp but from gate one he cannot be ruled out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Divine Vicky has the class to win.
