Looks a keen contest with Quizlet and Delivering pressing for the lead with Life Sentence and Like A Diamond close at hand. Maher-trained CHILLY CHARLIE (3) was a big CL1 winner in Canberra over a mile, and then missed a whisker at Bendigo in a 64. That's good form, and leading course striker John Allen stays aboard. Peaks and he looks a solid each-way hope. SIMPLY OUTRAGEOUS (7) is a progressive filly in the sharp McEvoy stable. She was heavily bet to win her Maiden on the grass here over this distance and will strip fitter. A live chance Coffey has to manage the outside barrier. The niggle is the outside barrier, but she may be too smart regardless. DELIVERING (2) was plain at Seymour, but he narrowly missed the two before. Bates will push him forward and anticipate a much better effort from the Maher-trained galloper. ABSOLUTE SUNSHINE (6) was narrowly beaten here two starts back in stronger company. He has the blinkers applied for the first time, and it's hard to risk the Hayes stable. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Chilly Charlie each-way.
