Estrapaz is the probable leader in the small field. EXCESS (4) sat on a very fast pace at Caulfield last time out and faded behind impressive import Tatsumaki, not beaten all that far in seventh. This suits much better and the run prior at Moonee Valley in BM78 grade reads well for this. Rates nicely. OCTRAIN (3) can mix his form but the run two back when placing at Moonee Valley is solid form for this. Forgive last start at Listed level, this is a nice option. ROADCONE (7) resumes. He's always promised a bit and has been largely consistent, getting over a bit further last time in. He's got the class to figure prominently. ATTAIN (8) is racing in good form and should be right there again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Excess to win.
