Anticipating a strong tempo with plenty of speed engaged. ROMAN AGENT (4) is having his first run for the Kumaran Naidoo stable. He is better than his last two starts would suggest. He has won once and finished second twice from four starts over this distance. He gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride and he can return to winning form. AGRADO (3) lost a length leaving the start over 1400m last time and stayed on well to finish third. He finished third over this course and distance on debut. If getting away to a clean start, he should be fighting out the finish. PEREGRINE FALCON (6) ran a fair race last start when finishing fifth of 10 in his first run for the Garth Puller stable when resuming from a spell. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Has each-way claims. ANDY COOGLE (2) is better than his last start run would suggest as he had excuses. On his previous form, he can run into the placings.
