FRENCH RIVIERA (8) improved sharply last start when second-up from a brief spell, making late ground to be beaten just 0.6 lengths over 1200m at the Sunshine Coast. Both her placings have come on rain affected tracks. Ready to win. RAINBOW LASS (3) has started at $4.00 or shorter in her last three so punters are confident she has something to offer. Got too far back and was never a contender last time out over 1100m at Grafton. Should handle the going and if ridden positively can get away with this. BRING ME SAKI (1) is back from a ten-week break for new trainer Stephen Lee. All three placings have come on wet tracks. Worth some thought if there is any market confidence. GEOFF AND JENNY (10) has worked home evenly in her two runs this prep over less ground. Not the most reliable mare but worth throwing in exotics. DARLING TAKE CARE (7) is racing well but might be better off on top of the ground. Minor claims only. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing French Riviera.
