Good pace from Brazenly, Queen Caves and Vescovi. Hard to go past the speed mare BRAZENLY (5) who has been solid in three runs to date. Returned from a break in a tougher maiden at Cranbourne. Led and was run over late but fitter for it and will take catching. ECHELON (2) returned from a long break in a tougher race at Cranbourne and after racing on speed boxed on fairly. Fitter and suited here. Expected to go close. IMMORTAL JOY (8) returns from a long spell. Worth noting did place when last resuming. Fitter for recent hit-outs and expecting a bright return. QUEEN CAVES (6) has been freshened since a well held fifth at Bendigo. The start prior finished at the tail at the Valley. Has good speed and off the low draw can give a sight at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Brazenly.
