A solid tempo on the cards with Millennium Prayer taking charge.
STAINLESS STEEL (4) turned in the best run of his career when a closing second on a soft track over 1100m at Grafton last start. Gets beyond 1200m for the first time but it looks the right move. Hard to beat in a modest maiden. STAR OF KONGO (5) returns from a twenty-nine-week spell. Produced a moderate run to finish sixth when resuming at Muswellbrook last prep. Has placed twice when fresh in the past so must be respected. MILLENNIUM PRAYER (2) led but knocked up badly in heavy ground at Grafton recently. Ran a nice race over this trip two back at Coffs Harbour on good ground. A risk in the going but still one of the contenders. FLEE WITH ME (8) is back from a 162-day break. Debuted with a fast finishing third in the mud at Grafton last prep. Should come back in good style. MAJESTIC THUNDER (1) did a fair job to clock-in a distant third in heavy ground at Grafton nine days ago. Likely to be in contention again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Happy to be with Stainless Steel.
