Genuine pace with Brightia Vera taking up the running ahead of Palenque and Thor Hammer. BRIGHTIA VERA (2) was an effortless winner last time over 1500m at this track, scoring by 3 lengths. Has been in the money at all three starts this preparation, including a win. Should be hard to stop. PARASOLE (1) showed early speed from a good draw last time and led throughout to score by 1.5 lengths over 1400m at Urawa. Winning rider Tsubasa Sasagawa sticks. Bold showing expected. PRESTO MULAN (10) recorded a strong maiden win over 1200m at this track last time, getting there by 1.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jumps from a wide draw but she is a great chance to go back-to-back. THOR HAMMER (5) went forward and gave a great sight when third over 1200m at this track last time out. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and eight minor placings from 10 starts. Don't underestimate.
