CASEBOLT (10) won her maiden first-up at Port Macquarie then copped an early check before storming home in heavy going to finish a close third last start over 1181m at Grafton. Cherry ripe at the third run back and looks the testing material. RAISED BY WOLVES (8) settled well back and made late inroads without threatening last time out with 61kgs on a heavy track over 1210m at Port Macquarie. Hard one to catch but must be considered with the blinkers going back on today and carrying 4kgs less. KEY LEGEND (1) made it three wins from his last five runs when he flew late to just arrive in time over 1420m at Grafton. Freshened up since that victory five weeks ago. Handles the sting out of the ground so plenty to like about his chances. Forget the last run of VETOED (9) who was outclassed in a Lismore Country Championship qualifier. Two runs prior to that at BM58 level were very good. Can play a big role. PRIDE OF ASHLEIGH (11) is ready to find form at the third run back from a spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: This looks a nice race for Casebolt.
