Strong tempo from the outset as a number of them push forward, with Green Sapphire, Jeanne Darc and One Path leading the charge. GIMMIE'S COUNTESS (1) should have finished closer in Grade 3 company last time out as she had to be switched for running room in the latter stages. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She is the highest-rated horse in this contest and should return to winning ways. WARRIOR ROYALE (7) won a good race fresh up over this distance at Scottsville. Two of her victories have come on this course. She is in a good space and is one of the leading contenders. GREEN SAPPHIRE (2) won a good race over 1160m at Turffontein last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Gavin Lerena retains the ride, and the pair merit healthy respect. REGENERATION (4) showed some signs of needing her last start over this distance at Scottsville. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Include in all multiples.
