GOLDEN PARRY (3) finished midfield and was beaten 2 lengths over 1400m at this track when resuming from a break last time out. The engagement of Masatoshi Yamamoto is noteworthy as it has proved a formidable combination. Looks tough to beat with the first run back out of the way. ESCAPADE (8) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten only one length. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. GOOD REIGN (4) recorded a strong maiden win over 1300m at this track last time, getting there by 4 lengths. Winning rider Shinobu Murakami stays aboard and she cannot be discounted. MERMAID (6) finished sixth at this track and distance at her last appearance three months ago. Minor place claims.
