BACKPACK (4) turned in a modest performance when third last time out over 1400m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. Has the ability to take care of this field. HO O RAIDAI (2) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1600m. COuld be hard to beat in this suitable race. AKDENIZ (5) started at $1.40 last time but could only manage sixth at this track over 1400m. Can atone. SATONO PATHOS (1) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time when fifth over 1500m at Nagoya. Worth another chance.
