EMERALD HILLS (7) ticks a few boxes today after getting the got the job done in grand style, shedding her Maiden status over this trip at Newcastle. Similar set-up for this and expected to go on with it now. BARRENGARRY (3) bounced off his good first-up third, with a slashing come-from-behind victory over 1600m at Newcastle. Progressive gelding who gets the services of Zac Lloyd again. Main danger. SERPICO (5) nice return over the shorter trip when he launched late to get off the mark in a 1350m Super Maiden at Wyong. Should have little trouble running a strong mile and watch for him late. LUNA BAY (8) blinkers come off after she found the 1300m too short first-up with a fading eighth over 1300m at Newcastle.
