Jenni Divine is expected to burn across and lead from the wide alley. Plenty of chances. GAELIC GEM (7) draws inside and will run along. That may provide her edge, building on her Sapphire Coast Maiden win over 1200m, where she was backed off the map. Keeps JVO, and the lightly raced filly has plenty of scope for improvement. SPLENDID MAGNUS (8) is racing well, scoring two back at Orange before finishing 0.7 lengths from the winner last time over 1375m at Cowra. Keeps the in-form Budler and with average luck from the sticky gate is a decent chance to bounce. TESSARION (12) has been threatening a win, and there wasn't much in it over 1400m at Wagga last time. She also draws awkwardly but can make the finish if things work out. SEASMOKE (13) and ENDLESS APPLAUSE (10) are both last start Maiden winners who map well. They deserve consideration as well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Gaelic Gem.
