Plenty of pace with Lightning Glory and Just Response up front, pressured by Whispering Rupert and Bondasong. Strong little contest with some handy types engaged. HE'S COOL (4) down in the weights at his second run back with a slick on-pace Maiden win over 1100m at Wyong in fast time. Gets map favours with the fast tempo today, leading prospect. JUST RESPONSE (3) lightly raced Justify gelding who resumes with a sound record. Proven at this track and looks set for a good prep after his slick 1000m trial win. Top-three player. BLUE SUEDE HOOVES (6) ridden positively from the wide draw when sat on the speed to shed his Maiden tag at start eleven over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Tougher assignment this time and place prospects look best. TRIPLE YES (10) two runs back have been encouraging and steps up to the 1200m for the first time this prep. Can get cover from the gate and sneak into the minor money. The chances don't end there. SUGGESTED PLAY: He's Cool and Just Response shape as the two leading chances.
