Ready to go one better. BRIGITTE ANNE (7) was close to a maiden win before a ten weeks break, finishing off with a placing over 1450m at Vaal. Expect she has come on over the break. Has ability and can hit the ground running this campaign. WISPINTHEWILLOW (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when fifth in a 1000m contest at Vaal three-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. TIGER'S CAPTAIN (5) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start over 1160m at Turffontein Standside, beaten 4.5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing.
