DALE (1) starting to hit his straps after holding off his rivals with the 60kg when a gritty head win over 1500m at Muswellbrook. Has further upside and leading apprentice booked. RELEASE POINT (9) showed a nice turn of foot on resumption when surging late for a comfortable win over 1400m at Tamworth in easier grade. Back in good order and shapes as the main danger. BUSH TELEGRAPH (4) returns from a let up after struggling to run the 2000m out when a poor ninth at Mudgee in the heavy going. Best form is over the mile, and the nose roll comes off. Stays in the mix. SWEET BUBBLES (11) sharp improver second up when jumping in trip for an eye catching second over 1700m at this track. Drops in weight and must be kept safe in this tougher contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dale to assert his class.
