A race that lacks early pressure on paper. MEDATSU YATSU (7) was a winner three back and has been good since, placing in the next run and finishing 2.2 lengths away last time at this track over 1400m. Nicely placed so has winning claims. GOOD REIGN (3) was a solid fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Expect another big run. COMPAGNON (8) never really threatened when resuming last time out, finishing midfield. Fitter so could do far better this time. MEISHO MICHI ROKU (5) has been unplaced at his last few but could play a role in this line-up.
