NARUKAMI (12) is a promising type who scored at his only run last prep nine weeks ago over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Has a perfect first-up record from three starts. Can do it again. MEISHO ZUIUN (11) is putting together some strong results. Finished second at Hanshin Dirt two starts back then landed the prize by 1.3 lengths as public elect last time out over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. LEVANT UNIVERS (5) is close to a win based on recent form, the latest effort a commendable second against better opposition over 1800m in the G3 Leopard Stakes at Niigata Dirt. HUG (7) finished fourth when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Can progress.
