Moderate pace only with Nekoni Kotatsu leading Yakurai Rose. EXCELLENT MAN (2) settled well back and kept chasing when beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 1600m at this track four weeks ago. Suited back in distance having won two of the three times he has attempted it here. Beautifully placed and can give this a mighty shake. SHINTO YUTAKA (9) raced on pace and boxed on well to hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is set to turn things around. PEACE ONE DOLCE (5) hasn't been too far away of late so could get into the finish. YAKURAI ROSE (6) placed two back and was solid again last start, finishing fourth at this track over 1200m. Go well.
