Hoping for a repeat of his debut win over 1200m at this track to kick off last prep. Comes to hand quickly so a bold showing is expected. RARITAS (2) has three minor placings from four starts this time in work, the latest as favourite over 1200m at this track. Overdue for a win and he is a leading hope. PEKORI (7) was well fancied last start over 1600m at this track when fifth. Reunites with Takayuki Yano which is a proven winning combination. Sure to be competitive. AREMPA (3) had been racing well before he was safely held last time out when fourth over 2000m at this track. Has a decent record at this track. Among the top-three hopes.
