Strong pace with Himashi, Dize and Mihrimah pushing forward, closely attended by Showtime Sassy and Swilken Bridge. Three key runners have been scratched which changes the race's complexion dramatically. HIMASHI (7) has not raced since leading all the way to comfortably collect a win on debut over 1000m at Dubbo in December. No trials to measure her progress. Will go very fast and prove tough to catch. EL BEATLE (6) is in the mix, drawing a bit closer now with the withdrawals. Was beaten just half a length two back in a stronger Class 1 over 1000m at this track. Sure to give a tremendous sight. DIZE (1) returns from a thirty-one-week spell for new mentor Jake Hull. Lightly raced mare who didn't come up last prep but did show ability in the maiden campaign prior to that. Betting holds the key. SHOWTIME SASSY (12) didn't do a great deal first-up over this trip at Muswellbrook but strips fitter and can improve. SORRENTO PALACE (9) is one to keep an eye on first-up with blinkers applied. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Himashi.
