Lots of speed predominantly from No Pockets, Reigning Captain and Parissident. STRAIGHT SOUTH (3) wound up late on debut when a close up fifth over 800m at Narromine with the 59kg. Maps much better here and the extra trip is right in his wheelhouse. WANAVAN (4) finally drawn a decent gate after going back from the outside draw when a plugging fifth over 1250m at Scone. This looks much easier on the firmer surface. COOL BEE BEE (11) visors go on today after battling in the heavy going on debut when third over 1000m at Scone. Buckley sticks and capable of better. REIGNING CAPTAIN (2) came out quickly at his second run back before fading badly in the straight when eighth over 1000m here. Blinkers and tongue tie go on today. Worth another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Straight South to relish the 1000m.
